Grab a friend and join us at GCC for a relaxed and fun time learning practical gardening tips from one of our own! Local home gardening enthusiast Kim Sellers will be sharing helpful hints that make gardening simple, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone—from beginners to those with a few plants already growing at home. Come hang out with the girls, learn a new skill, and leave with something you made yourself.

During the class, everyone will create a wicking pot, a simple planting method that helps reduce how often you have to water your plants—perfect for busy schedules, forgetful gardeners, or anyone who travels. This technique makes gardening accessible for anyone, whether you have a large yard, a small patio, or even just an apartment balcony. As we build our pots, Kim will also share practical gardening tips that every gardener can use to grow successfully.

The class is limited to 20 participants, so be sure to sign up early to reserve your spot. The cost is $10, and if you have them, feel free to bring gardening gloves.
