THE BELIEVER'S ARMOR FOR WARFARE
Ephesians 6:10-20
(1) be strong in the Lord (vv.10-11)
(2) be aware of your enemy (v.12)
(3) be ready for battle (vv.13-20)
the armor:
- belt of truth - sets you free to advance
- breastplate of righteousness - guards your heart
- boots of the gospel - allows you to run the terrain
- shield of faith - protects from the onslaught
- helmet of salvation - guards your mind
the weaponry:
- sword of the Spirit - God's word
- prayer in the Spirit - targeted intercession
