- sexual temptations (adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness)
- false religion (idolatry, sorcery)
- personal conflicts (hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envies, murders)
- carousing (drunkenness, revelries, the like)
The result? barred from the kingdom
Cultivate: (Gal 5:22-23)
- inward virtue (love, joy, peace, longsuffering)
- outward virtue (kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control)
The conclusion? no regulations at all
