If you would like to attend a Refuge service in the next few weeks, please read below for crucial information and guidelines from our church leadership.
Refuge is expecting a full house this Sunday, March 30th, for their grand opening; therefore, if you can wait to attend a different Sunday, we encourage you to do so.

If you plan to attend a Refuge Sunday Service
Well-wishers from GCCOB can support Refuge during the first few weeks of its public ministry by attending their Sunday service to contribute to a strong and encouraging congregation size ("critical mass").
-
PRIORITIZE GCCOB'S 9 AM SERVICE!
- The sermon content for the "Who is Your One?" series is vital for GCC's church members. It is crucial for Refuge well-wishers to first attend GCCOB's 9 AM service.
- If you're scheduled to volunteer during the 9 AM service and unable to hear the teaching, it is better to wait for another Sunday to assist Refuge after receiving at GCCOB.
-
Consider Refuge's Logistics
- Refuge has limited parking and children's ministry space. Well-wishers should carpool from GCCOB to minimize vehicle usage.
- Refuge cannot accommodate young children who cannot sit quietly during a 75-minute worship service (recommended for 1st grade and older).
-
Children's Ministry Volunteers
- GCCOB volunteers who have passed background checks may assist Refuge's lead teachers in their children's ministry. This must be cleared with Jennifer Jones and appropriately scheduled.
-
Share Encouragement Visits
- If you visit Refuge as an encouragement, please let GCCOB leadership know. This information helps us plan better for both congregations.
