1 John 5:16–17 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Dear God, As a church, we come to you to pray for sins that may try to tear us apart. As it says in 1 John 5:16-17, “If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life….” As a church, let us come to one another and pray for the sins we commit against each other. Let us come together to help each other, as brothers and sisters in Christ, with the sins that Satan may be trying to to have us do so he can make our church family weak. May we grow stronger together and pray for one another’s sins that we have committed and will commit. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
