Read: Titus 3  

Big Idea:   If you are a saved person, it is because God showed His kindness and love to you. It is not because of any good deeds on your part. He was merciful to you when He caused you to receive “the washing of regeneration.” The new birth is a time of cleansing and renewal by the Spirit. Because we have been “justified” (declared “not guilty in God’s courtroom) by grace, we have gained an inheritance that is everlasting!

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Titus 3:6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

Titus 3:7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
