Luke 11:5–10 And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Oh Lord, We come to you now thanking you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for laying on our hearts the needs of others Lord. We praise you for the empathy and kindness that you provide us towards others, whether they are our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, or for those who do not know you. We thank you for the desire in us not to lose hope and to remain persistent. That we continue to pray consistently, for days, weeks, months, or years, placing our faith in you Oh Lord. We pray Lord, that you would provide wisdom to us for your desires, trusting that you know what is best. We ask for strength when we are weary in our prayers. Most importantly Lord, we ask for patience, that when you answer our prayers, you receive all the glory. In your Son’s holy precious name, Amen.
