Acts 28:7–8 In that region there was an estate of the leading citizen of the island, whose name was Publius, who received us and entertained us courteously for three days. 8 And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him.
 
Dear Jesus we just ask that You lay Your hand on us. Lord heal us from illness, heal us from pain, and heal us from sorrow. Lord, You give us examples in Your word of miraculous healings, legs growing straight, sores going away, eyes opening to see, fevers leaving bodies. So Lord we just ask that you cover us with this healing power that You have demonstrated in Your word. Help people who are starting to have a difficult time to see to open their eyes and see clearly again. Open ears Lord, so they can hear clearly even the quietest peep, and they can hear You clearly Lord because Your salvation is the ultimate healing. Help the lame to walk. There are people who suffer every day as they walk into Your courts Lord, help them to be able to walk pain free. Help the barren to conceive so that they can raise children in Your word. Lord Jesus in Your word You show evidence of people being raised from the dead and You show incidences of healing for fever and dysentery. Lord those are cases from what we would consider mild to no hope, from the beginning to the end help us to remember that You are there. Help us to have faith to pray that the dead are raised, (and if they are raised, help them to have the faith to continue with You Lord and not turn away). Lord as we have learned, You are with us. You are with us in the time of illness, and You are with us in the time of death. Do not cast us off in the time of old age and do not forsake us as our strength fails. Lord keep us healthy until the day we die so that we can proclaim Your good news to our friends, our family and our neighbors. Oh Lord do not be far from us make haste to help us. Give us strength and peace as we go throughout our days. Help us to know that you are with us. We just thank you Lord so much for our healing and the answer to our prayers.
