 Each year on Easter Sunday we have a special offering for our Benevolence fund, which privately helps many people throughout the year. Most are members here at GCC. Because of your generosity, your brothers and sisters have been stunned by the ability to relieve some of their pain. 

Your gifts, monitored by the Benevolence Committee, express the love of our Lord Jesus to those who desperately need some guidance and help. We have helped with things like groceries, utilities, auto repairs, gas, medical bills, creating budgets, reviewing finances, professional counseling, lawn care and rent. Whatever the need, we consider how we can responsibly help. We do it gladly and in complete confidentially. Rejoice that your gift allows us to glorify our Lord Jesus by loving on people in these special ways.

We are told in Galatians 6:10, "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." This special offering is an opportunity for you to do a good thing, and it especially helps your fellow church members. May our Lord give you much grace so you can generously and cheerfully present your offering on Easter Sunday.
