Day 2: Pursuing Purity of Heart

  • James 4:8 - Focus on drawing near to God with a pure heart, understanding that He desires a close relationship with us.
  • Psalm 24:3-5 - Meditate on the requirements for ascending the hill of the Lord, emphasizing the need for clean hands and a pure heart.
  • Matthew 15:7-8 - Reflect on Jesus' rebuke of religious hypocrisy and the importance of genuine inward purity before God.

Day 3: The Promise of Seeing God

  • Exodus 33:20 - Consider why no one can see God's face and live, recognizing God's holiness and awe-inspiring nature.
  • John 3:2 - Explore the promise of seeing God in the future, as mentioned by John in the context of believers being transformed to be like Jesus.
  • Revelation 22:3-5 - Reflect on the future state of believers, where they will see God's face and receive His name, experiencing eternal closeness with Him.
