Read: Galatians 5   

 Big Idea:  

We are cautioned not to use our Christian liberty “as an opportunity for the flesh.” In other words, we have not been given a license to sin, even though our salvation is secure. Let us not presume on the goodness and grace of God. Let us stay busy serving the Lord’s people in the church. If we are pre-occupied with showing the love of God to our brothers and sisters, we will have a difficult time finding occasions to live by our fallen flesh. The Lord has called us out of darkness into marvelous light. We have been called to live free in Christ, serving our church in love.

Key Verse:   Galatians 5:13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
