Read: Philippians 2  

Big Idea:   Jesus Christ is Lord. He is not waiting to become Lord. He is not striving to gain the title Lord. He simply already is the ultimate ruler. Most humans have not acknowledged this truth. Many even despise it. They refuse His authority over them. For now. But God has already exalted His Son. One day, a great and terrible day, all flesh will declare His Lordship. Some to everlasting glory. Others to eternal damnation. But all will confess Jesus is Lord. Have you confessed Him? The Christian confession of Jesus’ lordship is water baptism by immersion after believing the good news.

Philippians 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

Philippians 2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
