Read: 1 Thessalonians 3
Big Idea: The Apostle Paul had all the feelings for the church in Thessalonica. He thought of them as his children, almost. When he was away from them for long periods of time without news/information about their welfare, he prayed earnestly for them. He sometimes was beside himself longing to know how they were faring in their walks with the Lord. His burden for their holiness was real. He prayed that God “may establish” their hearts blameless in holiness before Him, that they would be prepared for the Return of Jesus.
Key Verse(s):
1 Thessalonians 3:12 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,
1 Thessalonians 3:13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
