Georgia Jones

I was blessed to grow up in a Christian household. From a young age, I understood Jesus’ death on the cross paid for my sin and his rising on the third day gave us victory over death. I always loved Jesus and witnessed the Lord’s good work in my life. 
Though I had a relationship with God, there were many areas I did not submit to Him growing up. It was only until a year ago I started giving God all of me. I asked Him to reveal himself to me and change the desires of my heart. He answered me. 
The more time I spent with the word and the people of God, the more I fell in love with Jesus and His will for my life. Through pursuing a relationship with Jesus, I have grown in understanding of truth and witnessed the majesty of God. He is near to me. I am being renewed by Christ day by day. 
God has used the congregation of Great Commission church to speak into my life and push me towards Christ. This church has welcomed and embraced me as a sister in Christ. I’m so thankful for this body, and very excited to become an official member.
