Psalm 104:1–4 Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, 2 Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. 3 He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind, 4 Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.
Psalm 8:1 O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
Psalm 76:4 You are more glorious and excellent Than the mountains of prey.
Psalm 96:4–6 For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens. 6 Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
Dear Lord, may Your greatness never become common to us. Let us always remember you are King of kings and Lord of lords - the one who has no beginning or end, knows all, created all, and holds all together. May we as the body of Christ remember this when we come to worship and praise you with all that we are. Amen.
